Safe storage of chemicals and waste water

Spherical storage tanks with an effective volume up to 35m³

  • may either be installed underground or above-ground
  • the storage tank provides a triple wall design: the external and internal walls provide leak-proof reliability due to 24 hrs control by means of an integrated leak detector.
  • the wall that is positioned in the centre of the storage tank is made of a special type of polymer concrete to ensure high stability. Therefore, the storage facility may also be installed underground in the areas of roadways (provided that the shaft cover is designed to be driven on)
Spherical storage tank with buoyancy protection
  • in areas with high ground water levels, Haase’s spherical storage tank may be equipped with a buoyancy protection (optional) using concrete weights
  • the storage tank may be offered with insulation and heating
  • the integrated manhole in the domed roof provides easy access into the storage tank to allow for inspections and cleaning without the disassembly of the fittings
  • complete installation and positioning of the storage tank may be solely carried out by Haase, if desired
  • with regard to the chemical properties of the medium that is to be stored, it is possible to modify and therefore increase the stability of the GRP by combining different types of resins and glass fibre (please refer to the list of mediums)
  • the selection and arrangement of connections shall apply in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Depending on the medium that is to be stored, the tank connections may be made of e. g. GRP, PVC, PE, PP or stainless steel. Retrofitting of connections is possible

List of mediums

In order to ensure the stability of storage tanks, different types of resins and glass fibre are used for the storage of different mediums with individual chemical properties.

The following groups of media mya be stored:

  • Acids
  • Bases
  • Precipitating agents
  • Oils and lubricants
  • Industrial waste water and municipal sewage water
  • Detergents
  • Bio fuels
  • Various compositions of substances and other
